  • Route markingNo

Very attractive route which can be covered in both directions between the ‘Gorges des Gâts’ and Lus-la-Croix-Haute. You can take two days to take advantage of the landscapes and general ambiance. (170 km)

Unmissable : Die (St Marcel gate, cathedral, ramparts, archaeological museum, Purgnon tower, former bishop’s palace, 12th century 4 rivers mosaic, Protestant church, Valcroissant abbey, ‘jardin des papillons’ [buuterflies], Die AOC wine cellars including la Clairette), the typical landscapes of the Diois including the Glandasse, the Vallon de la Jarjatte (ski resort) and the Rocher Rond (highest point in the Drôme at 2456m), the ‘Saut de la Drôme’ at the Claps, a magnificent wonder of nature.

The + of this circuit : Châtillon-en-Diois : medieval village with its tiny streets. Valdrôme, the southernmost ski resort in the Drôme. See also : the Cirque d’Archiane (with walking opportunites if you so desire) the sucettes de Borne [rocks] and the optional extra of the source of the Drôme at la Bâtie-des-Fonds.

Please note

  • Tips :
