This hike is a real jewel a stone's throw away from Montélimar. The village was built around Saint-Marcel clunisian priory.

Starting point at the town hall.

Walk alongside the road, heading towards Sauzet and get to "Soleil Levant". Turn left on Chemin de Lavalenche. You can discover old quarries, ruins and lime kiln caves.

Climb towards the south and climb to the summit. Go past col de Perette. Climb straight towards Serre Rond summit.

Go back towards the Chemin de la Montagne to the housing estate called Plein Sud. Walk alongside the wall and walk up the path in front of Rue du Noyer. At the end of the path, turn right and walk down the graveyard.

Turn left on Route de la Coucourde and cross the road to explore the old town.
