The Gîte du Guetteur, high up in hilltop village of La Laupie, enjoys plunging views over valley and an outstanding location between the Drôme Provençale and Rhône valley. Lots to explore and many tourist attractions: Marsanne forest, La Valdaine golf course, Montélimar (famous for nougat), castle of Les Adhémar. The village of La Laupie is surrounded by other medieval villages with ancient stone buildings and potters: Marsanne, Mirmande, Cliousclat, also Le PoÃ't-Laval, St-Marcel-les-Sauzet, Rochefort-en-Valdaine. Within 30km radius there are other 'must-see' destinations: Dieulefit, Crest, Grignan, each with something different to offer.
