In the footsteps of the Huguenots (route nb9)

You may have heard of the European walking route called « In the footsteps of the Huguenots ». The following route, over the teeritory of the villages of Dieulefit and Bourdeaux, uses alternative routes used locally by Huguenots. (58 km)

Unmissable : the Romanesque church at Comps, the 12th century chapel at Crupies built on a Gallo-Roman site. Bourdeaux : le ‘Grand temple’ (largest Protestant church in the département), Dieulefit : St Pierre’s church, the ‘Viale’ quarter.

The + of this circuit : the little Protestant cemetery at the Col de Serre de Turc, the La Paillette church. Vesc : Renaissance remains, former church built into houses, the 12th century church of St. Les Tonils : Protestant church, former church and cemetery. Le Poët-Célard (château).
