In the Drôme Provençale St-Paul-Trois-Châteaux (capital of the Tricastin) is the ideal spot for exploring the Drome and the Ardeche. Old character village, local produce, beautiful scenery all around. Be sure to visit the Crocodile Farm at Pierrelatte (10km) and Grignan with its famous château (under 20km).
