The Multimedia Library has 2 missions: -be open to public (25 hours/week) -support 23 local libraries You will find books, comics and mangas, CDs and DVDs, magazines, internet access.
The Public Library proposes scheduled rendez-vous for kids: "Histoires and Tintamarre" (from 4 years old on) and "Toupetituli" (less than 4 years old).
Exhibitions, meeting with authors, shows, conferences are proposed year round.
The Library is also involved in the "Salon du livre" of St Paul Trois Châteaux and "Lire en Mai" in Nyons.
During summer, the Library gets out with "Les livres prennent l'air": readings in specific areas of the city. Besides, they propose "Lecture vagabondes": books are let on a banc, on a wall, everywhere in the city for you to read at anytime.
The Public Library of Nyons offers 380 000 books, 80 000 CDs, 11 000 DVDs, 150 newspapers, 24 000 magazines.
