A bike tour in the Vercors is a journey in unknown lands. This impregnable rock fortress is an unexpected haven of peace between the Alps and Provence.

Even if the Vercors remains one of the most isolated places in France, it is thanks to the creation of the Vertigo Routes, between 1850 and 1900, that this mountain range was opened up. These sublime roads were built in corbels, carved out of the rock in cliffs often several hundred meters high. Like the Route de Combe Laval, they offer travellers exceptional panoramas.
