This Gîte is part of an old stone house in a medieval village. It is set in a walkers’ paradise.
The Gîte has a living room with dining area and well-equipped kitchen. There is a separate bedroom, with double bed a lobby with wardrobe and chest of drawers and a bathroom. Outside there is a terrace for which a garden table and chairs are provided. This charming vaulted property is ideal for a relaxing holiday.
The magnificent countryside that is part of the Parc naturel régional des Baronnies is all around and you can step out of your door on to marked walking routes. The fields of lavender in full bloom are breath-taking and the hillsides are covered in wild flowers and thyme.
The beautiful town of Nyons with its Thursday market is half an hour’s drive away. There you will find an excellent choice of restaurants and cafés. Buis-les-Baronnies is a little closer and has a lively Wednesday market. Nearer still is the village of Ste Jalle where there is a small shop and in summer a most attractive Friday evening market with stalls selling drinks and snacks, or you can eat a meal under the trees.
