Upstairs, one bedroom with a double bed (1x160) and two bedrooms with 4 single beds or two double beds (2x90 or 1x180) depending on your needs, shower room (Italian shower, washbasin, WC), reading area. Reversible air-conditioning in upstairs hallway. Private garden furniture, gas hob, parking on the property, enclosed grounds. View of the Vercors foothills. Close to the D538 linking Alixan to Montélier. You'll be between Valence and Romans-sur-Isère, 2km from Alixan, a medieval village with the distinctive feature of being circular. In the foothills of the Vercors, the Rhône Valley and the Drôme des Collines, you'll be spoilt for choice when it comes to sporting and cultural activities and discovering the gastronomy of the Drôme. You'll be staying 1 hour from Grenoble, 1h30 from Lyon and just 10 minutes from the Valence TGV train station. Nearby: typical villages, hiking trails, climbing sites, Upie bird garden, Rhone hills, St Didier golf course, Romans-sur-Isère (shoe museum, factory outlet, etc.), Chabeuil (fortified tower, ramparts) and Valence (Jouvet park, St-Apollinaire cathedral, Maison des Têtes). Just a stone's throw from the foothills of the Vercors, in 1 hour you can reach the mountain environment of the high plateaux, with its Resistance sites and remarkable roads. Parking and access to the gîte from major roads are easy (A7, N7, A49).
