The Drôme is a land of abundance, an outstanding area boasting a number of official quality indicators (19 AOC-AOP, 12 IGP and a host of ‘labels rouges!’). These quality products provide daily inspiration for Drôme chefs; notably the 7 starred chefs of this attractive area, who sublimate these foods producing ‘terroirs’! To talk about ‘Drôme gourmande’ means immediately mentioning: Caillette de Chabeuil, ravioles,  pogne de Romans, Nyons olive oil but also picodon and truffles… The Drôme also produces internationally renowned wines (led by Hermitage, Crozes-Hermitage and Vinsobres, but not forgetting our spearhead product, the Clairette de Die sparkling wine!) However, the Drôme is also a major producer of aromatic and perfumed plants such as lavender, thyme and rosemary.
