Room details:
Viognier is a small 40 m2 dormitory with four individual beds located in the east wing of the former attic. The heavy drapes that delimit each space ensure privacy. The two windows in the corners of the room offer a breathtaking view of the old Arlebosc church, the remains of the ancient château and the surrounding countryside. A large bathroom adjoins the bedroom, with shower and double basin. The toilet is independent.

Chatus is a 22 m2 room overlooking the courtyard. Its exposed stone wall and old parquet floor magnify the charm of the past. It is equipped with a Queen-size bed that can be split into two twin beds, and a single bed. It has its own bathroom.

Grenache is a 38 m2 suite occupying the west wing of the colony. Between the valley as far as the eye can see and the hamlet's old stone walls, the setting is all the more soothing, with soft colors and decor that invite serenity. On the courtyard side, there's a spacious bedroom with a Queen-size bed that can be split into two twin beds, and on the pool side, a living room with a sofa that converts into a double bed and a large independent bathroom.

Roussanne, at the east end of the house, opens its shutters to the sunrises that flood the valley. This charming 16 m2 room also offers a view of the village and, beyond the terraced garden, of the Ardèche mountains. It features a Queen-size bed that can be split into two twin beds, as well as a separate toilet and a private bathroom with a Jacuzzi bathtub.

Syrah is undoubtedly the colony's favorite. Like the entire attic, this former dormitory used by the instructors has been completely restored. The roof trusses, cross-beams and star-shaped arches were originally hidden by a pine frieze. They have been integrated into the space to offer our guests impressive volumes. The intricate chestnut framework underlines the skills of the carpenters of the time. You'll love this 38 m2 suite, full of the charm of yesteryear. The bathroom, designed as a cube, separates the two spaces. On the courtyard side: the sleeping area with its king-size bed, and on the valley side: a sitting area.

History of the place :

The history of the Colonie des Demoiselles: in the first half of the 20th century, some sixty young girls travelled up to the Colonie every summer from Tournon sur Rhône via the Mastrou. They come from Lyon, Saint-Étienne and Marseille. Their mischievous laughter brightened up the villagers' daily lives, and Arlebosc fell into step with the colony. Local producers - the baker, the market gardener, the butcher... - deliver daily to feed the hungry troop. And then there are the campfire parties that the village children wouldn't miss for the world. We sing, we dance, we listen, captivated, to the stories told by the adults. There are the books borrowed from the camp, the great games in the valley, the visits to the surrounding area and, most precious of all, the benevolence of the Demoiselles who care for the well-being of the Arleboscois.

Maximum capacity : 15 people

Maximum capacity : 15 people
