Gîte adjoining the owner's house. First floor: entrance hall, living room with dining area and sitting area (sofa bed, armchairs, TV), reversible air-conditioning, kitchen, separate toilet, two bedrooms each with two single beds (2x90) (2x90). Upstairs: three bedrooms, each with a double bed (1x160) (1x160) (1x160). All bedrooms have their own shower room (shower cubicle, washbasin) and toilet. Swimming pool (6x4m, depth 1m5, heated), shared with the owner, open from May to September, weather permitting, private terrace with garden furniture, gas plancha, enclosed garden. Parking on the property. Access to washing machine on request. This gîte is located in the countryside, surrounded by vineyards and 3.5kms from Suze La Rousse. The village is famous for its castle on a rocky promontory. Be sure to visit it during your stay. It is home to the Université du Vin, founded in 1978. An Ampelographic Garden, created in 1989, invites you to observe and discover different grape varieties. You can also visit the château and chapel in the village of Rochegude and the Cistercian Abbey of Bouchet (10min). Within a half-hour's drive, you can visit Grignan, home to the château of the Comtesse de Sévigné, the Provencal market in Nyons or Montélimar, where you can sample nougat. There are many hilltop villages in the vicinity. The region is famous for its olive groves, lavender fields and truffle oaks. Buis les Baronnies is 45 minutes from the gîte. This half-Alpine, half-Provençal region also offers a host of wonderful escapades (hiking, biking, climbing).
