10 km from Tournon sur Rhône, in the Ardèche foothills, enjoy a peaceful stay in the charming village of Saint Barthélemy le Plain. At the top of this plateau, with an unobstructed view of the Doux valley, you can hear the whistle of the famous Train de l'Ardèche (linking Tournon to Boucieux le Roi) in the distance. The Doux gorges can also be contemplated by velorail, on a mountain-side itinerary. The Rhone Valley also opens its doors to you, and you can discover this heritage by visiting the region's many wine cellars. For those with a sweet tooth, visit the Valrhona Chocolate City, a pure delight. After your excursions or a day's work, find peace and quiet in the heart of this small town's residential district. Campalou 1 is on the ground floor of a house comprising 3 apartments, including Campalou 2. The new interior is functional and cosy. All rooms have reversible air-conditioning. The gîte comprises a large living room with fully-equipped kitchen, dining table and lounge. A corridor leads to the 4 bedrooms: two with 140cm beds, one with two 80cm beds (convertible into a 160cm bed) and one with a 90cm trundle bed and a sofa bed. The spacious bathroom features a bathtub plus walk-in shower. Separate WC. Prolong long summer evenings on the covered terrace in front of the gîte, and enjoy the lush green landscape overlooking the doux valley. For your convenience, bed linen is included and beds made up on arrival. Towels are optional. Private parking in front of the gîte.
